However, primarily, we are a group of people who enjoy communication and seize everyday opportunities to create new concepts. We are nearly over-creative, and we take pride in maintaining our strong and long-established media relations.
We prefer long-term projects that grow and can be constantly moved forward. We are ecstatic when dealing with projects that entertain us, the media, and the target audience, while making as much sense as possible for the client.
Taktiq started in 2014 by the merging of Dataconsult and Heretic PR agencies. Currently, the team consists of approximately 15 PR specialists, project managers, producers, and creatives. Among them are three veterans in the field, who stand at the helm.
TAKTIQ’S LEADERSHIP
ALEX
RÖHRICH
Media Director and Head of Media Training, Alex has been involved in PR since 2001. Originally a Czech language teacher, Alex had since gathered large amounts of experience in the media. For example, he worked for ČT and TV Nova as a linguistic editor. His specialties are: rhetorical and media training, writing and editing, but his greatest passion lies in media relations. That is not surprising, considering how many journalists attend his lectures at the Charles University of Prague and the Technical University of Liberec.
MICHAL
URYČ
The founder of Taktiq, he came to the field of PR in 2006 after working for Hospodářské noviny, where he led the Businesses and Markets department. As an economic journalist, he also worked for a number of renowned media outlets, such as Týden. Here at Taktiq, his forte is strategic advisory, business development and tending to the needs of clients in the business sector or public administration. He is the boss of the so-called “Top Floor”, a section of Taktiq dedicated to lifestyle and medicine.
IVAN
SOBIČKA
As our Partner and Account Director, he is the boss of the so-called “Bottom Floor”, which focuses on technologically-oriented clients. Ivan has 15 years of experience when it comes to designing communication strategies for local and global IT/T brands. His job is simultaneously his hobby, as he regularly applies his techno-enthusiasm in a science- based group dubbed “Žádná věda”.
WHERE TO FIND US
Our office is located in the historical center of Prague, only a stone’s throw from The Old Town Square.
We are divided into floors – the bottom floor focuses on IT/T clients, the top floor (the so-called “top dwellers”) focuses on lifestyle, healthcare and corporate PR. As time goes by, more and more projects allow us to synchronize and share know-how from all those areas.
However, you can find us across the whole country and even in Slovakia. Our colleagues in Brno, Ostrava, Liberec and even Bratislava take care of our clients in their regions. At the same time, they serve as an extended arm to the Prague home base in case of event production or ad hoc opportunities for communication in the regions.
We share our office with graphic and programming studios, with whom we closely collaborate. In addition to that, we have a network of suppliers, including photographers, cameramen, and even large production companies, whom we fully trust.
